Do you think the overland will handle this track.

Looks a tad bit narrow, I would think the best track for an overland would be painted concrete floor (which is forgiving) with like 20 inch lanes, and motocross style jumps, nothing too big until you get oil shocks, the friction dampers won't do any good with the jumps. I really dont reccommend taking it offroad, not street sounds right.

I don't think this track is meant to go fast on:).
Do you have a Overland. Because I've heard many good things about it's shocks.

I have heard the opposite. It seems to need stiffer oil shocks. And your right the track is just for climbing and jumping. I am building a regular track in my garage for my vette mini z. The straight is going to be 53 feet long. and 20 feet wide. And hopefully build bleachers.

Custom 96 zr1 in the new GM paint (gray metallic) with pearl blue stripes. Being painted now and should be done after chirstmas.

Yep.
The Overland will love that track you have set up in your....uh...house.

I dont think you need 20 inch wide lanes for the Overland. If your racing a Mini-z racer or F-1, yes. The Overland is the perfect slow to medium speed "rally" type (indoor) obsticle racer.

Have you seen this yet?

I can't seem to open that file. What is it?

That is a link to a video that I can view with Quicktime.

It is a video of a model show where Kyosho has a track layout that the red Pajero is jamming around on. It has some bumps and hills and even a road course.

If you dont already own an Overland, you will after watching this video. It is what sold me.

I have quick time but still will not open.

I use RealOne player to view it, not Quicktime. Sorry.:(

I just click on the link and it connects and buffers and plays.

I can't figure out how to download the actual file to my machine, otherwise I would just email it to you.

What happens when you click on it?

It says it is the wrong format. I just tryed to download Realone and it says it is for free but then asks for credit card.

I don't know man. try to just click past the credit card screen.

Make sure it is the free one? I dunno.

It is a cool flic!

That is hard to belive that a stock one can pull a wheelie. That thing has pucker power. I can't wait any longer

I knew you'd be sold, Free_Bee.

You have to give it a little reverse then hit the forward throttle to make it pop a wheelie.

I own one now, but I still like to watch that video.

yeah, i would say the narrowness is gonna be the biggest challenge. it's definitely a skills track, no doubt. kind of like a trials course on a bike. have fun, and post some pics or video if you can.

i find that some whoops and jumps that are about 18" wide or more are the most fun. they can be mellow or big. it allows you to hit them with some speed and not have to be too exacting. i'll post some pics of our little course at work on monday.

have a blast!

That track had to be torn down due to water in the basement. But it was tons of fun. The narrowness was trickey on some parts. To bad I did not take updated pics. I added a whole lot of bridges and bus jumps.
