I just got this little beast. The track I made is perfect with a few changes. I can't break it, takes everything and keeps going. The diff lock helped alot. Shocks are too bouncey. The body can be a bear to get off also/ other than that it is well worth it. I find that it does not tip easy.

Glad you like it:) . Try putting in different springs in the shocks to fit your needs.

I am going to have to wait until we get parts in. The front shocks do seem stiffer.

They are the coolest little things for just cruising around over blankets and shoes and magazines and toes and tails and room threshholds and frisbees and etc..

It has been storming here bigtime and this is indoor "offroad" fun:D

I'm surprised you have not flipped it yet. If you really want to, just get it up to high speed, let off the gas and turn hard right at the same time. Or, go strait at medium speed, then punch it and turn hard. She'll flip for ya';) Of course do it on the carpet or you'll trash the awsome paint job. I already broke off one of the fog lights on mine.

Hell man, I'm married with children and this thing still makes me giggle

I had the same thing happen to my fog light. Glued it back on and broke again. So much for the paint job hitting all my jumps the paint has worn off the bottom front bumper and my mirrors are ground half way. I ran my today for about 4 straight hours this is the toughest r/c car I have owned.

I have fliped, rolled, end over end and wheelie. Have you tryed a wheelie yet. Do you know if doing a wheelie will hurt the motor or gears?

Sure, repeated wheelies will shorten the life of all components including the electronics. But, all mechanical equipment from toys to spacecraft degrade with use. Who cares? Just have fun!

I am too wimpy to trash my stock paint job. I need to put a cheap 1/24th scale body on it and bounce away. Paint jobs aren't as easy to fix as gears.

Oil shocks or friction damper shocks could definitly improve the handeling. Unlike the mini-z Racers where oil shocks are an unneccesary joke, but cool to have.

They are loads of fun and carpet is definitely NOT an issue. I've just spent a ton of money on a new driveway, and I now have .060 thick rubber roofing membrane for the track surface. 10' wide by 21' long. I'm looking forward to making a "clean" offroad track with lots of subsurface obstacles. I'll take pics over Christmas.
