Or were you using the stock motor when the peice-of-poop gear shredded?

The middle servo gear, or the pinion gear on the motor?

Personally I'd just keep getting the stock replacement servo gears.

For the servo I don't see an improvement in using the Delrin parts. They last a tiny bit longer than stock, but not so much to justify paying more money for them. As for the alloy gears, I'm a little weary of using an all alloy front setup (alloy knuckles, toe-in bar as well as the bulkhead and rims). It doesn't seem like much, but it's a lot of alloy for a tiny little servo motor to push around.

For the pinion gear though I picked up a couple GPM Delrin/Alloy mix gears. They are kept on the ball diff shaft using alloy rings and a hex screw, but the gear itself is delrin. You can check them out here (look at the bottom right of the picture for them):

(for those asuming this is a mini-z topic its the OVERLAND area of the forum ;)

I dont think alloy parts are available for the overland YET... give it time... I say contact HOBBICO for the replacement parts now, the warrenty period should still be valid on ANYONES Overland ;)

I gotcha Drac. Sorry about that.

Still, I've heard that the Overland likes to strip those pinion gears pretty fast. Do u use the regular Mini Z pinion gears for the Overland as well? If so you should be able to use the ones I mentioned.
