I just ordered an Overland from the shop here earilier today (right after mini-z said they were in stock :) ) and ordered a 9pc overland specific bearing set from "stellamodels" on ebay for $15 shipped airmail...but the thing I don't get is what else should I get? I've read of a lot of the rear diff gears stripping, does a regular mini-z's balldiff work in the overland? I don't own a mini-z, the smallest r/c I've got is a micro rs4 actually so any help would be great :D
The only parts I immediately want to replace are the rims, and fit on a GMC Sierra regular cab pickup truck body, a light kit, and most likely a faster motor.
About how long do the AAA batteries last in the stock overland? For driving indoors does it leave you wanting more speed (like an X-speed, or the A-bb motor talked about on this forum) ? My house has a 75' long hallway down the middle of it that is hardwood, flanked by rooms that are carpetted...good area to drive it in? My micro rs4 is too fast for the house and actually leaves black marks on the hardwood from spinning the tires...hopefully the overland wont!
What parts from the regular mini-z are a direct bolt on? Like can I get different rims and disc brake simulators and bolt them in?
