being new to this how long can i expect the motor in my overland to run before it gives out. this is with no maintenance save blowing it with compressed air. also where can i get a replacement motor? does the regular z motor fit? and where do i get one if they do. i see all these maintennace topics and they seem too complicated for such a tiny thing. hell it's more work than i put in my car (77 mgb) and it's still running strong. if the regular z motors fit i would rather just buy a couple and have them as spares.

I would asume the stock mini-z motors will work in the overland... no idea if they are the same windings or not though... they will last a long time if you dont abuse it, and hold it full throttle while its not able to move etc... its geared like crazy, so it will never strain itself accelerating.. so that too will increase its life span.. its not realy a problem its not an OVER volted motor like most rc aircraft, so it will last probly longer then the rest of the car ;)
