Seems to me like GPM has already made aluminum front, and rear shock mounts! Check em out, if you can find 'em! (you should know where to find them anyways)

Hardtrkr,

Good stuff, needless to say, it'll only be a question of time before alloy motor/steering casings are available too.

Thats the first thing I had in mind when I saw those casings Mondo!

I keep waiting for wider/bigger tires and wheels. They could sell them with a new shell, like they do the z-racers. Wider would certainly reduce it's tendency to flip over.

Yeah, if a lot more aftermarket options come out for the Overland (which I am sure over time) then I may need to get one, just wish there was 4WD!! Hey, you never know.....

Those crazy people at the Mini-Z Bar will probably have made one by next week.

The overland is NOT 4WD???????!!!!????

Thats STUPID! Man, and I was thinking about ordering one. I want a 4WD truck, not some metro SUV that won't climb over a lump in the carpet. I already have a Desktop Rover that can do that, Now I just want somthing with speed (compared to the rover) to do the same.

I hope they have a 4WD to come out like the Mini-X

no, its not 4wd, but its got a locker in the rear diff, so it'll go over a lot of stuff. my (1:1) truck's transfer case is in 4wd more than it is 2wd, and im impressed with the Overland. that says somethin for it. theyre worth it

well, I will still probaly cave in and still buy it...even if it is not 4WD.

I just love everything mini! :)
