Okay, I'm sorta excited because I just found this site. I was looking to buy an F1, but now I want a 360 modena as well. The biggest kick came from the Land Cruiser 100-series paris-dakar. Someone please tell me how to get one (I live in DC).

In other news, I have an old ESCI kit BJ44, basically the old short-wheelbase, extended a bit. I'm a Cruiser fanatic and I drive a decrepit '87 FJ60. Anyway, check this out: http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Lofts/7771/bj44.html

I'd like to put this body on an overlander if possible. I can supply dimensions if it's helpful. Either way, this is good. I can now have a Dakar every day in my living room. Sorry for the length...I'm new and this is my first post.

you're in dc too? i live in northeast, near the md border. small world eh? i just went to my friends' in arlington to watch dakar highlights on speedvision (comcast sucks). pajeros always win. where are you?

those pics were from 2 or 3 yrs ago. the body is in a box somewhere but i'm inclined to pull it out. i did e-mail the shop and plan on spending quite a bit of cash on these little cars come spring. sooner if someone buys my camera (canon a2 for sale!!!)

e-me....i'd like to see these things in action one day. and to think, all this carpet in my office. what fun it'd be on long workdays like this one.

my townhouse is in dale city, but i spend enough time at the office, i pretty much live in d.c. (dupont circle). plus, when you tell people dale city, not a well known place unless you shop at potomac mills. everyone knows where d.c. is.
my office is rather small about 900 sq.ft., 3rd floor of a row house. so, not enough room to play at work. i don't know how well my co-workers and bosses would like me romping aound the office with my rc.
what kind of camera is the a2? i have an eos ix lite and powershot s300 digital. i have always been impressed with the quality of my canon's.
