I just designed a motor for the overland, but have yet to buy my own Overland.

Tons of torque and tons of top end. Totally different from the motor for the Mini Z.

Different tranny, different motor.

Iv got a few overlands Id like to make faster. One has larger monster truck wheels which changed the roll-out & gear ratio.

I was told to get the a-bb motors for them. How does your conpair to the a-bb motor?

I need lots of torque!

Thanks

hey NML, since you are at/near LA, CA and I'm up in ventura county, how about we meet somewhere and you could try your one of your motors in my overland? Its box stock, except I've got the bearing upgrade in it, and it needs some power :D

warning, DO NOT increase the motor power in the OLand untill you get metal pinion, spur, and mid gears... or you will just hit the throttle and jerk forward and then a BBBZZZZzzzzz sound no more movement ;) (stripped transmission gears)

i've heard gpm will be making an alloy gear set, can anyone confirm this and say when it will hit the market?

I heard if you get the GPM alloy drive shaft you will not strip gears if you set the slipper a little loose

My HK guy says he's running a X-speed on the stock overland gears. No problem.. If you pull wheelies & abuse it then you will have problems.
