I got a set of gpm oil shocks. And are they supposed to come with shock bladders? How do you fill them?

From what I've heard, GPM shocks usually come ready to use, but Kyosho shocks require oil.

I got them they were not full of oil. And they dont seal, and no shock bladders. My opinion is that these shocks SUCK. Stripped cap and just a poor product.

I dont have a camera so I cant take some pictures. A baldder is a rubber cap that goes on top of the shock under the cap. And it helps keep out air and it helps with oil volume. Very important piece of rubber. As far as money down the drain I hear you. I am soooooo pissed right now. $22 for 2 shocks that dont work. Very mad.

Get with Stella, have patience, it's the weekend. She will get back to you and hopefully you will be able to resolve the problem.

Shocks will work without bladders (Losi and Associated for example). Now if you don't have an o-ring seal to keep the oil in, that's another matter. You could try your local hardware or hobby shop for an o-ring.

I've used GPM side roll shocks and they were well constructed and quite smooth.

so they came with no oil at all?

Well, I wouldn't jump to conclusions just yet. If others complain, then I'll be concerned. I've only heard good things about GPM so far and it's a little hard for me to believe they would design an obviously poor product. Maybe you just got a lemon?

No they came with no oil. And Stella said that she/he will replace them for me. So I guess that is all I can ask for.

were they supposed to come with oil and yours were defective or do all of them come with no oil such as yours.

I am not shure if they were supposed to come with oil. I am hopeing that mine were just defective.

Just got a couple hundred dollars worth of the new parts in but have not tried anything yet. Will advise!!

BTW, the pinion gear set does come with the rear drive idler gear!

I have the GPM shocks, GPM shock mounts, RCRM bearings, and an X-speed motor installed. I didn't add any oil to my shocks and they seem fine. I wouldn't want them to be any stiffer. I'm still waiting on my delrin idler gear.
