I just ordered my silver toyota last night so I havent had the chance to look and the frame or any thing. But does anyone know about getting a lift kit for one? Cant you stretch the springs or lower a spring mount?

get the gpm wide wheels and tires. they are slightly bigger and wider. read mondo's post on the matter. he has pictures of them on the pajero as well.

on a side note, i tried to put my powerline brake discs on my overland:mad: , they wouldn't fit. the part of the wheel they slide on is fractionally larger diameter.

Does the suspension work as well with the lift?

Did you change the shocks? How about a pic with the body off?

It depends, If you dont care if the suspension is still then you can take it off and on it about 2 min. but the kit can lower the truck too. Its a cool set up ill get picks soon. Im putting a smaller kit on now. The suspension will work better than the bigger one. But can to some work to the uper shock mounts so it will work like new, no matter which kit you use.

Im guessing that the smaller lift would look better with the wide tires because the tires arent so far out of the wheels wells. Mondo, who did you get those tires from? I havent seen wheels like those on ebay, and those are the ones I want.

Large lift on the left and small on the right.

Small lift on the front of the OL

The green wire shows the plates needed to gain clearance from the front bars and the frame.

Here it what it looks like from the side. As you can see the shocks lean away frome the frame, that is what makes the shocks stiff. I you shave a little bit on the upper shock mounts off then the shocks will act like they did when the car was new.

The rear lift it the same as the front, but when using the larger lift the front bars need to be shaved a little to get the needed clearance from the frame. See next pic.

If you can see the bars are shaved a little to the needed clearance. Do not need to shave bars for small lift but I do believe the plates are needed.

I just shaved a lil off the upper suspension arms and its not as good as new but its damn close. If you are going to do this make sure that the screws are vertical unlike in the pics, or eles the shocks wont work as well.

Thats GREAT, I will be playing with your idea tonight.

You mentioned getting the springs verticle, I know you probably addressed this already but..
How about putting a washer on the ball mount at the bottom, should move the shock back to upright.
I dont know the clearence issues but thought I might mention it.

Thanks Again, your pics were great.

HAHA you will be the first to try it. I fried my ESC with the dumb @$$ V2 turbo, but that just gave me a reasone to get the pajero #200. :D

You cant do that. The shocks will hit the servo box and im not 100% sure but I believe the motor mount too.

I tried to reach by email or minizracer messages but got no feedback. I'm interested on your lift kit. Can you confirm me your email ?

Cheers,

I believe he is in his 20's, 27 or so, I believe.

He could be on vacation, it happens around the holidays.

Hey guys. I talked to Warn last night on AIM. He is away and wont be back until mid-month or later. He said he didnt want anymore requests sent for his lift kit until he gets back because he already has 20 some e-mails, and he just simply wont be able to keep up with the requests. He also said thanks, and that he would give the ok when it was okay to request. Thank you for your time, Travis :) :D :p
