Has anyone used these wide tires?

Usually people just went with slicks and foams... but now I see these in the catalog.

Any good? For both traction and straight-line-ness.

I have GPM wide radials on almost all of my cars. The handleing is excellent. ANY surface they will be better than stock (I know that's not saying much) but they stick better than foams on most surfaces, too. Sometimes I get too much traction and roll, but then I put stock tires back on front and then it's ok.

I think mini-zracer.com sells a version that is identical to the GPMs, but I could be wrong.

I have had at least a dozen of the gpms, and they are great.

Oh, yeah, you can put them on a car and tilt the display base over 45 degrees before your car will slide off. They are that sticky.:)

I have GPM 8deg (if I read the card on the packaging correctly) radials, and they have much more grip than my GPM 10deg slicks. I don't use them on ozite, cause I'll have understeer when I use them (in the rear).
I also have the GPM front 45 deg radials, and the amount of grip that I get from them is comparabe to the GPM 30deg slicks that I have.
The rads have much better grip than the slicks, from my experience on ozite and linoleum

Looks like I'll be getting them over my stock ones...

How's their life?

I agree with Jeff.
As to how their life compare with the 10deg slicks, I'm afraid I have absolutely no idea, as the tyres lie unused in my box (makes me understeer on ozite)
