Tracks in SoCal? Anything left?

Are there any more Mini-Z tracks left in Southern California? anything within 30 minutes of Los Angeles preferably...

Ah... the infamous Grant!!! I wrote to Kenonhobby and I was told the track isn’t open to the public until the race on June 10th... now that I know I can stop in when you’re there, I’ll make it a point to come through (as scheduling allows)...

I have a brand new MA020VE and a brand new MR03SPORT2 (70t) as well as an ‘old’ MR03LM (70t LiFe) that I got when the LM first came out (787b) as well as about 7-8 other bodies I can run including a 350Z GT500 body and a Corvette C5R for the 94mm touring car class...

So I can’t wait to get these on a track and get them sorted out!

Hey Grant... do you have a wiring diagram for wiring 2s2p lipo cells in a MA020?

Just to pick it up where Grant left off there are now 2 Active mini-z tracks in SoCal, Besides PN the 2nd one would be Skyhunter Hobby in Lancaster & now the racers from both shops have been organizing inter-club race days the inaugural being on May12th at Skyhunter & the upcoming PN race on June 10th.

As mentioned "weekend" GTG's @ PN are once a month to be shifted to third Sundays starting in July. Most of the GTG's are open practice days with 3 of them being race days with details announced way in advance.

At Skyhunter they alternate between setting up their RCP tracks & using same space for 1/10th scale drift cars. That said their mini-z program is solid and involves racing days at least once a month.

Both counts as G said best bet is to follow them on FB.

PS - in Thousand Oaks there's a newer shop called Marty's Hobbies now with a carpet track inside the store . from what I've heard and seen online they run offload vehicles using removable ramps and whatever else makes sense and they are open to mini-z's running there too, however they're is no regular mini-z schedule, racing program nor a lap counting system or dedicated pit spaces so at the moment is more of an idea than a third track but potential for something to happen is there.

Thanks... I mentioned Marty’s on another thread about a month ago... and I called them about a week ago and they said they are open to racing Mini-z... like you said... there’s no official program... it’s more like, if a couple of cars show up, they can get on the track

Skyhunter is hella far for me... but Kenon is still an option if I can time my free time with there schedule... I used to go to Brooker Tracker, and I’ve been to Kyosho’s track... I haven’t been to Kenon yet, but I hope to go soon

Grey Carpet indoor track, email, call or check & messenger on their FB page about running Z’s there. I understand there is/was some limited Z action going on at this location.
