MantisWorx F1 Rear Wing
I started this thread because there wasn't one specific to this part and I needed a place to post this.
I recieved my MantisWorx rear wing on friday and I've got it all assembled, painted and installed. I'd have to say it's a bit of work putting the thing together, it did require a bit of cleaning up, but it was no big deal. all the pieces fit together nicely and looks just like the rear wings on the 2010 formula 1 cars. :) here are the pictures. I run a McLaren body so I painted the wing to match the body with the orange and silver. Hope you like it. Oh, you'll also want to note the MantisWorx's front wing is installed and painted to match as well. They are a little tricky to get together but its no big deal. The strips for the wings fit so well they almost snap together, the 2010 style wing looks great and I like the fact that it protects the spur. |
I agree, it's flexible and just moves as needed. I don't see it being as brittle as the Kyosho rear wings as the material isn't as brittle.
I really love the way it turned out and looks on the car. I was very happy with how it turned out an matches the car perfectly. |
