ZRound for Android update

Hi there,

There is available a new ZRound for Android update. Now all your sessions are registered in a local database.

The new main screen includes a button to access to the sessions registered (folder icon).

The sessions list looks like this

With a click you will view the lap times

With a "long" click a context menu is shown giving you these options:

- View lap times (same as short click)
- Delete selected session
- Delete ALL sessions (it will ask for confirmirmation)

And this is the session laps view. The transponder used and session date are shown on top:

Direct download from your device: http://www.zround.com/request.php?49

It needs some testing from all of you :o as I don't own an Android device.

Bugs report are welcome. Regards,

Jesus.

Love the new feature to view laps timing.
But why do it show only <10min timing. Anything more will not show.
Also it still hangs if connect to WIFI if you do any setting change.

NoBrainer 2012.11.03 08:18 PM

had to install a new browser to get it to work.
it would be great if you could see the settings when you choose settings.

It may be your previous browser blocks installers to prevent malicious software to be installed, even zround ;)))

I have tried to reproduce the issue about opening settings unsuccessfully. I use the system log to write down traces, could you please send me the system log?

I like to use "aLogCat" to view and send log files easily. See https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....alogcat&hl=es

Thanks in advance.

I have timed sessions for more than 10min and it works. I can't figure out why you can't see >10min. What does happen when the clock reach 10min limit in your installation? Does it stop receiving lap times? Does it disconnect?.

What I've seen is that the last lap is not saved. It is not an android app issue but ZRound race manager bug. It is solved, then new release is ready for downloading (1.12.9).

Regards.

Oh yes, last lap is not recorded. Meaning 10mins run is recorded till 9.58.xx and last lap not recorded.
I shall try the new version. Thanks!

I can install it now when I just got me a different browser.
Installed perfect.

Now I just have to make it work with speach.
I will try it tonight again.

please note that I've converted the latest version to playbook format. Some good news and some bad news.

Good news is that the program is running good in almost all respects. The program announces the lap times, etc...

The bad news is that whenever you try to retrieve results from a previous session, (quick select) the program crashes. "the application ZRound (process com.zround) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." then a button "Force close".

This is the same case after a long select and press the "view laps" option, same message as above.
