Worn out ball diff?
I've got a GPM titanium shaft blue ball diff in my MR02, and it's starting to get a lot of slop in it; and even slip a little here and there. Can I buy new diff rings and balls to rebuild it myself or should I just buy a new one?

Welps, you could... I just chose to get an entirly new diff from kyosho. Once you take your diff apart you'll find out that their leveling sucks; its like they don't have any calibrating tools over there or something. If you check out ebay right now, one guy has some kyosho diffs that are selling for 15 a peice. I just ordered mine today. I chose kyosho because you cant go wrong with it and many other racers recommend this one. Also, plates and balls might be 5 dollars and another 5 for shipping. The thigner on ebay is only 15 shipped so whynot? Anyways I hope this helped.

Good point. Kinda like rebuilding an X-Speed motor; just replace it. Still, I like the lightweight titanium shaft. Maybe I'll find another GPM diff. :o

GPM's been replying via email instead of posting - I'll try to get them up and running in the Forums but in the interim, here's their response:
