MR03 brushless !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, after the MR02, after the Mini z catamaran boat, pepeuch continu on MR03 !!!!!

Photos represent the minimum for now, but I will disclose everything to the right time. there is so little space that it becomes a personal challenge, the 02 she had much more space.

hoping that you like it. ;) :D

le 15/03/2011: modification of direction's servo

since the beginning of this project and even from version MR02 brushless, large problem in this direction was because the electronics of the servo controller was too close to the servo, and it was because of lack of space. I look very long to find an electronics very small, and I put Apas bit of time finding the ideal location in the new chassis 03. Now it's done:

The electronic in the front block of 03

Hello, already a year since I could not work on my MiniZ brushless!
involved my soldering iron that passed away, and not wanting to reinvest in a bad mark I saved to pay me a welding station.

and now I test it on the MR03, it took me change the electronic servo because it was not fit and I have remodifier the front to install an electronic more consistent. it was not easy to integrate all this but it is done and the direction is very reactive.

tests will be done this weekend and a small video on the training track. I still have the parameters of the controller to study and later pressed the engine replaced by a motor "NEU proton" more torque because it has four instead of two poles on the Feigao.

you will notice that a resistance is added to the potentiometer of management, it is normal, futaba had put so I was rewiring the same, a micro condensatuer is also under the steering motor is just a surge suppressor.
feast your eyes, and do the same.

PS: pecifications the chassis and the list of used electronics is updated, now do just as I was not the only one;-)

Hi, sorry but for now I only shows the minimum, because I am not yet sure how to move the son and the location of the receiver is not yet final. and then there is very little space (less than the 02). but party like it's gone I will finish this project quickly and there you will have all the details.

(my english is poor 'googles trad')

one hand it makes you even more mouth watering :p

for the impatient and curious here is the link of my cars converted to brushless:

I'm keen to hear more about how you got a 2mm shaft on the fiegao. That has always been my biggest problem with installing a brushless system

Hello,

it's good, my 03BL running, it's very difficult of wiring the receptor and brushless controller with less place than MR02. But i arrived !!!!

photos and video comming soon ;-)

Do you notice a differance with so much more motor on the left side of the car?

Felix2010 2010.03.20 01:57 AM

Awesome car:) I like it a lot.

What's the Race-Ready weight for this badboy? - including batteries, body, transponder, etc?

I have wanted to build a "hobby-spec" MR02 for a very long time but since the MR03 arrived I have been extremely happy with the new 03's electronics -> The RA-22 PCB unit is extraordinary I think. So now my KO SS-Rx is headed towards 1/10th glory (I hope:)). I just need lots o' time to hit the books and do some heavy research into the 1/10 Electronic Racing scene:cool:

But it is still in the back of my mind to build an MR02/MR03 using a KR408S Rx. I have a TGR Spinner I bought specific for the job (No brushless for me).

Also what brand & part# micro steering servo did you use to power the MR03's steering on your Brushless MR03 Pepeuch? I'd appreciate your help in choosing a servo. Thanks for the info, and for the great project:D

Hello, no I did not feel any difference with the extra weight on the left side of this motor also is lighter 5grs that brushed motor, and I even think that the weight is better distributed because it offsets the weight differential that is found to be the opposite side.

Felix2010: the weight of the MR-03 is 168.4 grs RTR

electronics used for the Rx is a spektrum who happens to be perfect and without its top radio electronics for servo I used a pico servo (5grs), the servo electronic is very small and I replace the potentiometer of the servo by that of MR-03, and the motor.

Otherwise the frame will soon compete in an endurance of 8 hours, shook his first appearance, the inconveniences of this race is to be used tire rubbers then another less torquey engine shook used (short cage motor in 8000Kv ).

For this reason the engine is prepared with ceramic bearings and reliability of the cage (which tends to déflasquer). I will explain in pictures how préprer these small brushless motor.

sorry for my english (google trad)
