tyre tape on the top and bottom of the servo

Nice set-up...I can guess by the shape the Esc it's a Spinner, what about RX...Micro t ?

mk2kompressor 2008.09.23 08:51 AM

modified spinner esc,rc18 reciever de-cased and micro heli servo:)
same as what i use in the sinisters.
this will be mainly used for hfay time trials:D

EMU 2008.09.23 10:00 AM

Looks good man, love the standoffs ;)

marc 2008.09.23 10:17 AM

Can't wait to see it finished, please let us know how it handles! I'd use a Spektrum 3500 receiver on it though.

mk2kompressor 2008.09.23 12:56 PM

the standoffs are pretty funky;)

ive used the same recievers in all my pan cars marc,no glitches with giro z:D

marc 2008.09.23 01:41 PM

Cool, I was only suggesting the 3500 for size and 2.4 factor. Worked great in my custom Micro-T!

mk2kompressor 2008.09.23 06:49 PM

thanks luke,im just playing with the settings(spinner+)and having a little rewire under there to make it flatter.

more pics with enzo body, this thing is amazing just on carpet, rcp will be next week sometime:)

herman 2008.09.23 09:05 PM

mrcg vs sinister...

how does each one handle... :D
pros vs. cons

marc 2008.09.24 11:44 AM

I'd like to see a race between the two different chassis.
First a time trial, then side by side.

mk2kompressor 2008.10.03 08:19 PM

ill compare both chassis when i have more track time, just the mrcg at the meet this month:)

rcp test was interesting, almost like my awd with the grip but i had a slight tweak problem thats now hopefully sorted :D

went 2.4 with 3x3 of 7312 fets and jr-22 micro servo,it looks alot cleaner now, once tested ill make it all a little more permanent and neaten it up some more.
its belt drive at the moment for testing this coming sunday and maybe a time trial or two;)

How's the belt drive vs normal diff ?

cowboysir 2008.10.04 03:14 PM

What kind of modified servo saver is that mk2...I've been doing a little thought experiment for my upcoming build but I'd like your input.;)

EMU 2008.10.04 04:23 PM

Check out the JR285 servo with Mini-t saver... fits perfect ;) I believe that the JR241 is the non digital version if you want to save a few bucks or want to use an ASF board.
