I see a 1/28 PN mod, are only PN parts permitted, or is this a typo and meant to be Pan mod?

How strict will the F1 rules be? I have a few ideas that I want to try... ;)

bermbuster 2010.11.02 08:30 PM

Nice....
If my work schedule allows it Im going to make this race myself...

Any option parts are permitted and any chassis. Lexan pn bodies in the 1/28th class. I will get the rules up soon.

F1 will be close to the PN f1 rules.

It would be great to see you guys make it up.

lfisminiz 2010.11.03 04:51 PM

Bill, ill do my best to make it up there too.:)

Right, but in the first post here, it states only 1/28 PN mod, not PN Pan mod ;) So I was a little confused.

Bill, would we be able to use all wheels? Or the same as PN, would use PN/Kyosho wheels?

BTW, I really like how the body works :D

PNracing 2010.11.07 09:48 PM

Bill, the date and all information is confirmed yet? I need book my ticket.

k_bojar 2010.11.08 07:45 AM

Ok updated with the hotel rate information.

Special rate. $59 per night for 1-2 nights. 49 per night for 3 or more. (ask for the maximus rate)

The guys running the races are great and have a lot of experience running large events.

So the LA Cali crew have confirmed they can make the event. I know our crew is super excited to take on the triple crown world champion.

Emu, yes any rims will be allowed in pan.

If we have enough people we can even do an AWD mod class. I know the NJ guys are interested.

Trophy's / awards are always top knotch at Maximus. We are also looking at having a very unique handout for entries.

wcrotty 2010.11.12 04:24 PM

Philip, all dates are confirmed.

Crazy - I just happen to be in Boston earlier that week so I can easily swing up to attend this one. I'm a total noob to Mini-Z but I've been racing off road for a while. Guess it's time to start practicing!

SAGISI 2010.11.23 01:27 PM

Will this race be held on carpet or RCP???

My work schedule has me in Ohio this week so Im out for racing.....
There is going to be some Awesome Racing going on....
I saw from the drivers list the iron man from 1/18th scale and battery/cell guru is racing....John Cravotta....John is a great guy and Im sure if Bill Crotty helped him with set up he will be a racer to watch. Another local I remember from 1/10 SCT Nats is Rob Sylvester.....(Fast and Smooth). Im sure there are a few other locals I dont know about that will do well too...

This is going to be an awesome race and I wish everyone attending the Best of Luck.....:)

To my West Coast Buddies.....Dress warm and Good Luck!!!!

Watch out for Chad he has been sporting some kool new glasses.....

EMU 2011.01.03 09:08 AM

I wont be able to make this trip. Ive been sick since X-mas, and ive used up too many days off :( I hope to make the next one. Good luck.

wcrotty 2011.01.03 11:03 AM

Binh,

The layout will be around the same size as the 2006 worlds. We use either pn 6s with pn 10 fronts or kyosho 20s with pn 8 fronts. I would say the traction is like yours at the last race i went to.

The entry list keeps growing. Still waiting to hear from the NJ guys to see who is coming up.

I can't wait for the event. It will be a blast.

wcrotty 2011.01.03 08:00 PM

grant,

good news. the highs for the weekend will be 26 deg. You should be all set with the big puffy jacket.

Losi, ilap and rcp give aways are in. Lots of good stuff. Pn motors and prizes are on the way.

wcrotty 2011.01.06 11:38 AM

Motors have been changed to 70T not the 80T for stock

Z_408 2011.01.06 02:07 PM

What time does the track open for practice on Friday?

thanks.

wcrotty 2011.01.06 10:59 PM

Hi Binh

I Pick up the LA guys at 5:45am.... we will go grab a bite to eat. Drive up the coast stop at the lighthose to see if we can freeze grant when showing them the cool sites in the morning. Then i will open the doors when we get there. I think around 8 - 9 am.
