Well, with regard to room in the Mini Z chassis, Stage 5 (or layer 5 or 5X2) is all that really fits. 6X2 will work IF you install a washer underneath the PCB, to raise the whole board.

I've tried both of those combinations and used motors as low as 25 turns with no problems. Don't bother with the 3004 FET... even just a pair of IRF 7389's will outperform 4 3004's!

I'm not too sure about that... I guess someone has to try it and see what happens. Personally, since its so easy to remove the stock fets, I wouldn't bother leaving them in there.

That car runs a GPM High Torque motor geared 11/42 (pinion/spur). The run time easily makes 25 to 30 minutes! Plus, the motor is barely warm after all that time.

Well, all I usually do is to use 26 gauge copper wire (insulated) of the same length as the original antena, wound on a peice of lexan. So far, I have no glitching problems with it.
