I ran my mini-x on 4 cells when I first purchased...

I ran my mini-x on 4 cells when I first purchased it. It ran fine but would start glitching on the throttle after about 5 minutes run time. Once I upgraded to 5 cells the glitching went away.

Thanks for relating your experience. Stacking FETs, at least in theory, should reduce heat build-up, not increase it. That makes me wonder if you might have had something else going...

I would like to perform a FET upgrade on my F1. I've read in previous posts that the old FETs have been removed before adding the new stack, is this absolutely necessary or can the new stack of FETs...
