Nice, but no cigar.
None of the Mini-Z's have "crumple zones" (perhaps with the exception of the NSX
) as they are not 1:1 cars, they are plastic shelled RC cars.
Real cars have "crumple zones" as this site will inform you:

Both handle impact fairly well, but the Land Cruiser is a little top heavy and long on the rear end, which can be problematic when tackling steep obstacles.
The steering gear, wheels and lower suspension mounts are well protected and will only get broken if the Overland is abused, as in treated like a stadium truck, which it is certainly not.
The steering gear is only at risk if the Overland is driven without a bodyshell.
