Felix,

I have been using 3 cells rechargable li polymer battery for a long while now, and definitely sworn by it. For using it on daily basis(15min-1/2hr)and 2 hours on weekend, I probably only need to recharge it on monthly basis. (the battery is not even low, somewhere less than 11v).

For Nimh, I strongly recommend using the Eneloop batteries by Sanyo or the similar type of cells. New orion cells are probably best for heavy use, but eneloop has the property for ultra slow draining. And given if the user discharge and charge at a low rate, the cells could last longer than normal Nimh cells.

Energizer li are great and light, but I remember it starts at a much higher V, something like 1.7v. Is everyone using energizer li battery finds it ok to use with Helios in a long run?
