There are only 3 tracks left close by. There is one in the Bronx called Bruckner Hobbies. They have the kyosho Dnano carpet track but they have put multiple sets together to fit Mini-Z on them (barely ) Then you have Cruizin RC in waldwick NJ. They have a large offroad track and a smaller RCP track (I also think they run silicone tires on RCP ) and finally the best of all is Maj's Hobby shop in Hackensack NJ. We race every friday in the largest Mini-Z track in the area. The track is open 12-7 mon-sat but on friday we are there racing until 1 in the morning . Maj by far runs the best shop and track, and it goes without saying that is why he has been able to keep his track open when all the others have opened and flared out and closed. Friday and Saturdays are the only days we race and are the most exciting days but if you happen to stop by in the late afternoon during the other weekdays you most likely be able to meet Eddie and Sean who are there frequently just hanging out. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask and I hope I can answer them. Also I have to warn you we are a pretty competitive group but as a collective group of racers you can ask anyone at the track for setup help or just to talk Mini-Z as you said. All the racers are aproachable and friendly and Maj is the best Hobby Shop owner in the business. He knows his stuff and is as willing to help as he is knowledgeable about all things RC.

Also Maj's is like 5-15 mins from the George Washington bridge if that matters.
