>>I got the car for $159 at my "local hobby shop"<<

Exactly the reason that I cannot/willnot support LHS's in this area!

We have several of the 'chain' hobby shops within 30 minutes of me and IF you can find someone that KNOWS anything to help you.................well, I'm sure that many of you know what I mean.
They want full tilt on parts, $140-$150 (& tax) per readyset.
I can get the same thing for $120.00 shipped and get a bearing set and some other items free if I wait a few days to have it shipped.
So far I have been able to trade for all of our minis and bought a few things at a discount from someone here.

LHS my be good for someone & somethings but for the most part I can wait and shop around.
If I wanted easy I would by all our food at 7/11 but that would not make much $en$e now, would it???

In fact, I'd rather take my chances with ebay before trying our 'chainstore' hobby shops!

A buck is a buck.
