Central IL-looking for a track

like the thread says, i live in central il and am looking for somewhere that has a track.

I am sorry for missing your post. We do have a track in Decatur Il at the old Ameren/IP headquarters. We typically run 2 times a month. Starting this month at the beginning of the month we have our local point series and at the end of the month we participate in the How Fast Are You OnLine Point Series.

Not sure how far away you are from Chicago, but the Museum of Science and Industry purchased a large amount of RCP Track. I am not sure the details of their program, but you may want to give them a call and find out.

Thanks for the info. We are only about 3 hours away. I like to go up there any chance I get, great place to visit but I am glad I don't live there anymore.

Do you have any specific contact information or should I just call the general number? I bet I could get a few guys to join me in a trek up there for some Mini-Z racing.

I do not know of any up there. With as many people as there are living up there I would expect someone to be running a club. If you find one let us know. Chicagoland is only 3 hours away so I would gladly travel that occasionally to race with other people.
