hi roger... yeah... it's nice seeing that you're back... i've been reading some posts... about your sponsorship... and that it wasn't being fun anymore...

Very very true. This was probably one of the main reason as to why I stopped racing nitro 1/8th and 1/10 on-road afew years ago. Fully sponsored and supported was nice but sometimes troublesum. A hobby that was suppose to be for fun turned into work; which led to loss of interest in the hobby as a whole. Now, im slowly getting into it, but this time only for fun. If someone asked me to be sponsored, i'd say, " Thankyou, but i've been down that road many times and I don't want to lose the main aspect as to why I started this hobby in the first place...........for fun !! "
gotta love your philosophy... it's really nice having you back... i've also read that tj ''reeled you back in''... tj's a really cool dude... good luck in the up coming race...
oh yeah the body is a 98mm... haven't run it yet though... i believe tj is running this body and they all say that it's the bomb...
Roger you would not be dissapointed with the body. its the greatest around. you can get a good rear offset with it mine is aound 2.8 the rear diffs are alway off. by the time you shim it to center youwill be around +3 sometimes

Thx dvs for the 411. I noticed that when I mounted TJay's body on my 98mm, there was soo much room for larger off-sets. I've been out of the mini-z for a long time, but do they make odd off-set rims (2.6-2.8mm) ??? I finished painting the body last night. I'll post a pic later on today.
not that i know of... what you could do, (but i'm not sure if it will be favorable though) is to add a washer or shims (or two) to make the track width wider, as dvsstrike mentioned...
roger and herman. measure the rear diff to see if its centered.if its not center it with sims then measure the rear track. it will go up. every diff i have is off centered. the gear side is closer than the other side.so i shim that side and measure again. i keep shiming till its equal. right now my rear track is at 76.6 so 38.3 center to right and 38.3center to left. just try to match the front as close to rear or make it shy about 1mm
