gun metal alloy wheels
anybody know where i can get my hands on a set of gun metal alloys for my McClaren Gulf? I really dig gunmetal, and they would go great with my blue Ferrari 612 too, and even the silver Mustang GT I'mthinking about getting.

I just got a set of the new Iwaver wheels from T.o.w.e.r. but it wasn't the set I ordered. Right color (gun metal) but not the right style.
They have a couple minor problems though ...
The wheels have to be purchased in pairs, so I ordered a narrow set for the front and a wide set for the rear. The narrow ones didn't have the inner hub notches cut to mount on a gear or ball diff. Good thing I didn't order two sets of them for an MR01 or anything like that.
The wide wheels have a negative offset, so when I mounted them on a stock gear diff the back side of the wheel is so close to the gears on the diff, ya cant see any space between 'em.
Last minor issue is the fit. All of the places where you would normally put in the ball bearing upgrade pieces, seems to be a tiny bit oversized. On the stock and aluminum wheels the bearings will just fall out if you dont bolt the wheel to the car as soon as you install the bearings. Same thing on the ends of the differential axle.

Iwaver = barf. Sorry guys. Just my opinion after trying them out a few times.
Get the Kyosho wheels for the BMW M3 GTR. I run them on my Mclaren every now and then. They look super hot. Gunmetal, 8-spoke.

sounds like a great idea, now to find 'em (especially this time of year). You got a pic of them on your McClaren?

Those 5-spokes look hot too. A little more tuner than racer. I love the gunmetal 8-spokes on ANY 0-offset car. Supra, Mclaren, etc. Right inbetween the two styles. For the racy look though, go with the NSX 5-spokes. They look the most like the original Mclaren wheels anyways.

MZH256GM, I was looking for the part numbers for the wheels in that picture and this is it. These are my favorite wheels, they look good on a very wide range of bodies, I only wish I had extra rear wheels just like these with a 1, 2, 3mm offset to use my wider bodies with.

They are all 0/0 offset. Which wheels are you talking about? I can check Kyosho America for stock, so you guys can figure out if you want to order them from one of your friendly US dealers (wink wink), or need to go overseas.
