xmod body kit on overland?

Has any one tried to put a f-150 xmod body kit onto an overland f-150 body?

I am mainly interested in the front and rear spoilers to make the kyosho f-150 body look a little more like a race truck and a little less like you are going fishing in it.

We started an overland class at the track that I race at and I am looking for a body to go with. I like the f-150 because of the small roof over the two door cab. All the other bodies have a lot of roof area and make the "CG" alot higher.

I wish that Kyosho would come out with a baja race pickup body.

I am sure it would involve cutting, and in some cases there may be a different shape between the Kyosho and Xmods bodies. That can mean gaps that need to be filled. If you work something out, I'd love to see the pics.

I just might have to try to see what I can do with it to be different.

Why don't you just use the XMOD body with bodykit on the OL? It'd make it a lot easier instead of all that cutting and sanding. Also you could just shave the inside of the XMOD body to make it lighter and you could always paint it if you don't like the blue.

I am not a big fan of the xmod bodies. They look to much like a toy. I know that using a xmod would be easier, but lets face it, easy is not always the better way.
