Arrow New White Altezza

Well I have decided to broaden my Mini-Z life onto cars; I have been dabbling in the Mini-Z Monster Scene for a while. I figured if I could find a used car for cheap why not.

I am looking for some beginner upgrades, durability wise. Are there any plastic parts that I need to alloy out, or have spare plastic?

As far as I can tell, everyone suggests this.

Ball bearings
H-plate
Diff
X-Speed

I have the motor covered. The Altezza is a MR-01, so can anyone give me direct links in the shop to the proper H-plate and Diff. I would hate to purchase the wrong ones. I do realize thatís a little lame, but I really have no idea when it comes to Mini-Z cars. I never left the monster or Misc forum.

I would also like to get aluminum wheels, the Rims Arch2b has on his altezza are very nice (squares). I would like some thing similar but wider. Is there such a thing?

Any other links/thoughts that you have that are relevant would be great!

Thanks for your time

Hills

I Did see them there, that how I knew you had them a link to the store would be better. Also is there such a thing as a wider rim I can get for the back wheels?

Yeah I know I am horrible, but I might as well start looking now. I think I am just going to go with a fet upgrade, motor, bearing and maybe an H-plate.

I have everything but the bearings and H-plate. What is a good multi purpose H-plate (in/out doors)

Ok sounds good, hard for indoor and soft for outdoor??? Whats a good brand for h-plates, and bearing.

I did a search in the store and didn't come up with much of anything, how about a link.

the dry bearings here are nice bearings i hear.

as for the H-plates, ive found that kyoshos are the best. some other brands' h-plates dont return fully after a while or when its been exposed to a lot of stress or shock

youll want a soft h-plate for slippery surfaces, and a harder one for grippier surfaces
a harder rear suspension will allow you to corner at higher speeds, but rear grip is decreased and it becomes easier to spin out
a softer rear suspension will corner slower, but theres more grip in the rear so your car is a bit more stable

but outdoors is harsh, i would use the hardest h-plate anyways so it doesnt snap as easily
