The AR-142 (30D A.W. Groove Narrow.) works very well on my AWD as rear tires on RCP. I am starting to dislike AWD with N and W tires combined. I think the AWD runs better when all four tires are same width(Narrow or Wide) and maybe with same offset, more experiments are needed.
This is something I have been wondering about sinceI first bought my first MA010 (2006) - Should the Front and Rear wheel offsets be identical for maximum performance? Or does having say a 3.0W-Rear matched with a 3.5N-Front(Equivalent to 1.0N on MR02), does this matchup not have any negative effects on the AWD's handling?
Sorry to be a bit off-topic...
About the AWD-Narrow X-pattern Atomic tires - How would going softer on these tires, say to a 10d or 20d effect the grip? Do you lose grip when you go softer, or do you gain grip with softer versions of the AWD Narrow tires?
Thanks for the info as always
