TRP Mosler MT900 R Spec Race

Once again I come up with another spec race. Rules are the same or similar as the megane race.

Trp mosler mt900 R body only
Any 1/28 scale chassis example MRCG 1.1
Weight limit 180 grams
No electronic limit
130 brushed motors only but no limit on turn and U can open the motor if desired. So the sky is the limit.

If ANYONE has ANY suggestions PLEASE SPEAK UP! These rules are not yet set in stone.

The windsheild and windows required. Spoiler and other parts optional. And since I allow a wide option as far as 1/28 scale chassis goes, there won't be a wheel standard. Trimming is also allowed since these bodies haven't come out yet, I don't know if the wheels that come with this body rub or not or how well it fits on a chassis. Its a 98mm body and runs +2 fronts and +3 rears.

I've got 2 test the mosler body the past couple saturdays and no issues as far as clearance and quality even on an MR015. Handles well and the wheels that come with it do not rub. I'm thinking of running this body 4 HFAY. I change the weight limit 2 175 grams. I really need 2 know who wants 2 do this race so I can set up a date and place 2 do this.

I'm down for what ever. I have the body just put out the motor options. I'm guessing with no limit in electronics we should pick a hot motor.

I was thinking either PN 43 or 39 turn motors. These as far as I know should be fet safe with 2.4ghz pcb's stock fets.

The address to Awesome RC is

2885 Warrenton Road
Fredericksburg, VA 22406

I would say its an hour 2 an hour and a half north of richmond. A little more north is hobbyworks in fairfax where Washington DC GTG also races. I don't know the address but check the Washington DC GTG threads 4 the address there. A little more north and there is remnant racing. Don't know the address there either but there should be a link in the Washington DC GTG forums or they should have there own section in clubs and GTG. Look up Mike Keely here on the forums about remnant <hope I'm spelling it right mike racing club. And talk 2 arch2b about Washington DC GTG racing.

It's actually not far off 95. Very easy to get to from 95. I sometimes takes the back roads to avoid the whole northern va mixing bowl area which is almost always a mess.
