-This little (pinions) are hard to get out... even with a puller!
-But they get out eventually!
-Now the problem is puting this pinion on a new motor....but solution is on the way... (when i got this clear out "puting" and getting out it's easy) lol!
But, now is rims time...
-Alloy for back!
-Alloy for front!
-Some PN Racing excelent tires!
-Beware of tire beauty!
-Much better visually and in ride/control/play
-Love this tire thread....

Well, time to get the motor some cooler... which is always a good thing...
-Alloy motor cradle....
-Motor cradle installed!
-Alloy shocks/springs... much better
-Shocks installed!
-Alloy cradle for metal bearing of the 4x4 titanium shaft....
-4x4 shaft cradle alloy installed....
-And it is time to start something...
GET rid off the patetic PCB with ****less steering... don't want that piece of TOY! Even with the tight turn resistors will be a gen1 xmod board...(they are bad but the remote is even worse, that's what make things really "toyable")
The evolution pcb's are a little better! Just a little better! But the goal on the end is only a miniz one or losi micro one!

Hope all of this was worth your money man... Also, no GPM knuckles? Also, no MA axle/wheel mod??

-Gpm knuckles on this is crucial, later! (better, everything in alloy is crucial on this... stock plastics are rubish, just not like the miniz plastics, wich eventually give place to alloy too )
-MA axle/wheel mod? (what is that, don't know... or maybe know... but not seeing right now, maybe the 3*6*2.5?)
It's worth it, believe. But it's a long battle to make it special, special one!
Have faith! This is a long process!
If you notice it's got a heck of potential for tuning/upgrades, otherwise is a 50dollar evo toy called xmod!
-Central position of motor with pinion right on spur gear to the central shaft!
-Bateries on each side to center balance!
-Low COG on all body!
-4 independent suspension arms
Better not underestimated it. (and i got several miniz's -mr01-mr02-awd-monster...so i just know a little of it all). And we "portuguese" got some credit on the miniz world, you know... lol
But xmods they need some minor tweaks besides full alloy! Dozens of hours to understand what is wrong even with gpm!
In the end is a true RC racing machine. By racing i mean real race! (not just flat out speedays like kids on youtube!) and the evo ones are better then gen1!

Ok, more time spent on it, resulted in this...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_ZvJCS4itw
-This is a video of the car with the Gen1 PCB and 4x4 kit and lithium ferrite with 11tooth gear.... not running on ground
-Workbench....
-Gen1 PCB out....
-Evo PCB with 2x3 stacked fets from my yellow hummer project!
-Conections... all good...
-Shrink heat tape on soldered wires...
-The Evo board on the Gen1 chassis.... and it works!!!!!!!!!
Problem is reversed steering... when i checked everything on the servo... it goes to right the horn... but on the car horn to right means tires to left ...
no problem, just switch the remote!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZzloN5YJDM
-And a video of the Evo board connected to the Gen1 car.... it works!!!!!!! Better than the stock.... 2x3 fets give some punch... even with stock motor!
hum... got rid of the gen1 pcb and puted an evo one? I gotta be joking... well it's for the better, just a little better! lol

More videos of the evo board working on the gen1 chassis!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYVLr82Xxdc
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qh6KYeKUi8
My stress for the GEN1, (pinions) progress...
-Hammer it  I used a old motor arm and puted the metal pinion that i get out from the 8 gear motor with a hammer.
-Then i GET out "again" the pinion with a pinion puller...
-And puted the pinion on a new racing motor .... by hand, it was very hard, but doable...
-In the almost end... i used a vice.
-With some tape and metal ring/shims "whatever" for the shaft get out a little....
-And it's done.... I am so happy now!
-The tape used, and the final job done!
-And breaking the new motor in!
Need time to put this on the GEN1. I am passing from 26.000rpm motor on 4.8v which should be more on 6.6v... to 41.000rpm on 4,8v... which indeed with 6.6v give .... more rpm's
And now (12-2012) i can remove and put brass pinions on a blink of a eye! Using other method to put! But for removal is the same as showed...

-Got time to put the Z2 on the Gen1....
-Installed....
Now that's loud and speedy, i liket it!
Can't control it... to much power... maybe the pcb on top should have the culp right! (Eventually i will dith this motor, This is the second that i put on a 4wd car and they all burned after some play with li-fes) So it's a no go motor for me! T2 or Chilli are still alive!
In front wheels i got the "smaller" ones, with normal tires.... i decided that is time for a bigger ones in front...
-See the diference? I do!
-Alloy Suspension for front!
....

More time, more ups..
-Sexy, and drivable!
And i had the chance to get this...
-Yellow GTR Bodykit ...
-Looks a lot better "live" in person
Ok, time to go serious on this thing!
-Some secrets, they got!... and this is one of them. They need on the front knuckle 1 miniz bearing, otherwise the dogbone(swingshaft) will come off very easy! Notice the larger bearing... that's what's missing!
And the last but not least a PHD"degree" brain!
-Ahahaha, the evo board was only for test, i did not "played" with her even a half charge! But now i will....
-More will come... stay tuned!

-Yep, miniz 2.4ghz with 4 "4562" fets, for handle the Z2
-The lithium Side, errr Ferrite side :halo:
-Botton, back whatever with the miniz remote!
-And this is the body i use now... the yellow one will go to whatever i will find usefull for it.
Need to make some videos...
PS:the gen1 servo on this works very great! Very! And the handling control of the chassis is awesome, ready for track smoking!! :::
And by the way... Z2 motors are only for 2wd because on 4wd they will get very hot, and smoke!
That is the second Z2 motor i smoke! (the first not on this chassis)
So a Z2 is a no go motor for me. Used to 4wd never go back!
