OhThe GL social media page is vague, and their website's info is nonexistent. However, they list the front and rear wheel arches at 78 mm wide which is very close to the old Kyosho r8 (I don't have a 2015 to compare it to). So the offsets should be similar. I am interested in the front splitter mount. It appears to have a front bumper/splitter that attaches to the stock chassis mounting points, and the body attaches to that somehow. It looks great in the limited photos, but I will be interested to hear about it. Hopefully you will get it soon. I ordered wheels from GL racing and it didn't take nearly as long as stuff I've ordered from Japan.
Short shipping duration is good to hear. Yes, the product presentation on their website is indeed lacking.
I'm sure as these show up on door steps, we will get more information shared. I'll be sure to post what I can when mine arrives.
Key concerns for any Autoscale:
-what offsets are best fit (what does it come with vs. what fits best for widest possible trackwidth?)
-weight
-suspension clearance (do tri-shocks fit, do dampers hit rear glass?)
-where does clearancing provide improved performance
-what is it made of
-how durable is it
-how does it handle impact with track rails (stick or bounce off)
-performance characteristics (this is more subjective as driving styles vary greatly)
I received my order and my initial impression is these are better than the Kyosho autoscale. Same level of quality, wider track width. I haven't' yet weighed the body. It's interesting to see the subtle differences for what should be the same car in the same scale. We know Kyosho morphs the scale somewhat to make it work though.
Not sure if I like the bumper feature but it's removable which is awesome if you don't like it.
What offset wheels does it come with?
What tire combination does it come with? Rear tires are VERY soft.
I have not yet put this on the track to see how it handles, I'll do that this weekend. Not sure of the overall black scheme as this typically doesn't work well on tracks. Hard to gauge if the decals offer enough contrast until I get some track time.
For the cost, it's a steal in my opinion and GL should be very proud of their effort. I only hope they release unpainted kits as well.
It's good to know they have a high quality product. Looks like the car the boss drives is a good buy. Could be a +2 offset at least, we will know soon...

So, did you get a chance to race this body yet? I'm curious of your thoughts after you've driven it on the track. Did you use the bumper mount? Is it too dark to see? I hope it is working out. I'm trying to decide whether to pick on up myself.
I like it much more than the Kyosho version for sure as it has more room up front for wheels/tires.
I've found it easy enough to see with the contrasting colors on the body. If they sold unpainted version, I would prefer to paint my own but alas, that doesn't seem to be an option. I would buy more, but there is only one offering.
Unfortunately, it deosn’t seem like they will be releasing this as unpainted version. I would have enjoyed using this as a base for several custom jobs.
