Question Monster trucks killed the Overland???

Do you think that the new Monster trucks that Kyosho released will kill the Overland vehicles???

Iknow that I'm buying two of the Monster trucks...
What do you think???

I'm not sure that it will kill it, but it might put a good size dent in the OL market.

Not for me, I have two OL's and don't really have any plans to buy a Monster. I may get parts to convert an OL, but even that's not real likely. I guess I'm not as aggresive as most guys are with my OL's, I'm not really interested in jumping them and going crazy with them, I'll save that kind of action for the 1/10 scale stuff. I like the scale realism of the OL, handling-wise too.

no, i have or will have 3 overlands and one monster. i don't see myself getting another monster. as much as i love it, i only use it when i want to get wild or crush other's xmods. it is what it is so to speak. about the only reason i would get another is to have a street racer version but again, they are best for waht they do best.

i use them both for different things.

all of my overlands are different setups; racing, offroad and stock. i plan on getting another for doing custom work and testing.

I still plan on purchasing a couple Overlands even though I bout the Monster first. Like arch2b said, the Monster does what it is intended to do, and the Overland has it's own place. I look foreward to just putting around on some off road terrain and use technical skills to get across obsticals rather than just blasting over them with the Monster.

i say kyosho should introduce a 4wd standard overland that ought to put a big dent in the monster sales till kyosho puts the 4by kit in the monster then we are back to square one but with 4wd
