Well done... Can't wait to get one
It must be lot of hair loss during the R&D lol.
Just wondering, is the upper arm same length, or shorten than the lower arm? will there be any camber gains when suspension travel upward? Any chance to make rear version yet??

we flip the boards around to keep the fets off the hot motor.... aids in keeping more power longer... also the upgrade in wire is for less resistance as it is TQ wire which is almost oxygen free and allows for very low resistance... by doing this and eliminating the stock switch and wiring the board directly to the batty terminals it is equiovilant to running comm drops all the time... very cool upgrade and efficient... a must have upgrade for the mini-z... i do this to every single car i own...

i have raced against him and this car on numeraous occasions as we both run at the same hobby shop twice a week... its really good... i dont understand if there is something more that you would like me to elaborate on...
when he drives it he kicks my butt... when i drive it im faster with it then when driving my own... it handles track conditions and traffic very well and is very stable on the straights and like i said before it has endless amounts of steering with no worries of it traction rolling... you can really man handle it out on the track and it will respond...

thanks for clearing that up. just trying to get an idea, can you tell me the lap times on the PN front end vs stock front end? and tile size of track it was run on? (example 30x21)

Indeed a real performance part we all should have, this is no decorative accessory as many others on the market. Definitely this great suspension downsized to the 1/28 scale chassis is a piece of engineering that will make a real difference on the cars handling, stability and all @ performance. Well done PN Racing, I guess only you could come up with this beauty.

The track is MHS, full competition sized track (held 2009 NY/NJ PNWC regional). The car is very fast in the corners, and has a lot more steering than my car could without traction rolling.

i never been to MHS and what i was trying to get at is comparing times out here vs out there. The track i run at is about 26 L x 16W best time that i can do is 10.1 w stock rear pod and 10.2 w SAS, with a atomic stock bb motor, 950 batteries. my car dosent traction roll often bc i super glue my side walls of my tires. i was just wondering if it was a WHOLE lot better vs then stock and/or if it felt like the PN front end on a 02, which was hard to tune but got good traction when dialed (which eats up a lot of time tuning and wasnt that consistant (not to say its a bad product))....i guess it hard to get an idea on how this frt end works wih pictures and ppl's comments.....i'll have to wait till i get my own to get answer.
link below is currently the track im running....

Yep a piece of performance art, really put on together, you practically came up with what many considered was “impossible” Ben. From now on you have become the 1/28 engineer Guru to me. I had no doubt you could make it, and make it goooood.
Big step forward for this mini scale, and a new epoch has been declared “Before front unequal A arm suspension and after front unequal A arm suspension”
Cheers…

narrow wheels...
why do I feel that this car is running 94mm, non-mod motor and PN25 tires.. no?
White low down springs (kind of reminds me of the rear SAS I did a while back), 2-2.5 camber, rear is lower than the front..? all this to have the front to push a little. Well, it will push if this car is running stock front end however, it is running the A-ARM kit. With the above set-up it seems that the car is well balanced to have a body roll to go smoothly around the corners without worrying about traction roll. hmm... this set up actually made it a well balanced set up. The steering is gained not from the tires but from the body roll and the front suspension. I wonder how hard can you come into a turn with this front end and how fast can you get out of a chicane vs stock front end.
I may have to dust off my AWD soon then...

TJAY: The tires on my car are for show. I always run 6deg wide rears and 8deg wide fronts. We were hoping Phil would change the front tire width for awd for 2010 for the PN races but he didnt. Maj and Junior are verrry fast with 6deg wides and 8 deg narrow with glue on the fts with traditional kingpin cars. The front end is sooo tunable, not only can you change static camber but as well as the camber gain, just like the 2wd double a arm. The white low down spring is somewhat stiff but on an a arm car, its not. I run green low down springs on the rear (kingpin) and the front is still staticly lighter.

Oh yeah, I remember receiving couple of emails/pm about petitioning that wide wheels to be legal for 2009-2010 PNWC use. Sorry for not giving an update on that. I haven't had time to mess with my AWD car...
I hope this product will force me to dust off my AWD, I hope.. Now if you can send me that front end so that I can try it. lol... Philip said 2 of East Coast folks is testing it. I think it's West Coast's turn. hehe...
