You have drawn in some new blood as a few of us have seen the post on social media about your track and what you do. I as well as a few others have bought or are buying mini-z.
I just bought an MR-03VE Pro 02 (W-MM) and I'm looking for set up suggestions as well as tire set up.

I'm super stoked that we may be getting some new blood into our little club!
I replied back to your other post. =)

Please let me know if you have any Edits/Suggestions/Additions etc. to add to this.
The short of it is, Sport/Sport2 is slightly limited on the radios that are compatible but tends to come for a radio so it nice as a started/intro. The Original MR-03 & MR-03VE ASF are the most compatible. The Pro is ASF compatible but requires MHS for the increased Response Time & Data Points.

Welcome, and this is really exciting - I'm sure you guys are very experienced and will be at the top of our race standings soon!
Hopefully my work schedule eases up and I can meet some of you in the new year, although there is a chance I will be working additional Saturdays.
By the way - if there is interest, maybe I can long-term loan some RCP that I bought from Ryan a few years back - it's about 1.5 sets worth of a mini-96, but definitely needing a few blank tiles... Currently running on the smooth side since that's what I prefer... Might need some cleaning though since my parents' home had a slight basement flood recently.

I want to add that the Sports (and presumably Sports 2) series boards operate on the FlySky protocol and can work with module-based radios if you have one already, so you're not limited to using the KT-19!
Here's a link to an rctech page that describes how to make the adaptor with just one 12K Ohm resistor - and some pictures of a FS-TM002 module connected to my EX-1UR.
As for setup - I can't comment much since I'm not particularly skilled or competitive, but I found that with a mild motor (Kyosho stock brushed), anything works well as long as you have the right tires. My most well-behaved car is a MR-015 set up as 90mm N-RM, 0N 0N!
Welcome again and have fun! I have been in and out of various RC scales, but Mini-Z is the one that has stuck with me and I still plan to continue expanding my collection!
