over rated
It's just my opinion but I think the mini-t is overated. It's much bigger than the overland so unless you have huge house I don't think it would be that much fun in your house. If I were to run it outside like it is advertised why not run a 10 or 8 scale? The bottom line is that it is over hyped and anyone who thinks it's better than the overland is wrong

two things:
1. seems to me that the mini-t is really a different beast all-together than the overland. it's made for real off-roading (dirt track, jumping, etc) and the overland is not. so why compare them at all? it's like saying a hammer is better than a saw. huh?
2. didn't a thread about this just get moved? so why are you posting here about it again? this forum is for overland discussion.
sorry, don't mean to be harsh.

I agree, it's apples and oranges. That's why I cringe whenever I read a review that mentions the T can be used in the house. How big are the houses these writers live in? I may get one myself, our local indoor offroad track is pretty small, I think a T would be better for racing on it than the 1/10 trucks.

Dont always believe what ppl write, some of those that get "freebies/cheapies" for reviews, have been known to write the review before they even have the product... ive heard a few instances were, some one tosses a plane up for the first time, or puts a car down on the track the first time, and says to some one "Hope its as good as the review I wrote"... -- these were magazine writers btw .

If your talking about Radio Control Car Action, all of them are paid for reviews. I've suscribed for nearly 3 years and I have yet to see a bad review.

lol! You can't compare the two trucks. The mini T is 1/18 scale, and the Overland is like, 1/28. I saw one at an R/C show, and it actually ran very well...I might get one around Christmas, and I bet the stock electronics will not be in the truck too long.. I have lots of ESC's receivers, etc...

Actually a hobby shop near me has an indoor one tenth track and it's pretty small. The mini-t would be fun to race on it. Knowing the owner of the shop he will never run races.
Arch I was just kidding about what I said to Reverb. You guys are right about the mini-t.
