I received my front and rear mantisworks wings on Friday. Here is the finished product installed on my car.

initial thoughts on the front wing. It came completely assemble and just needed to remove the existing parts to install. it was quick and painless. they quality is good and the design is great. I removed the top styrene pieces and painted them to match my body.

I haven't had it on the track but I can already tell I'm going to like it. It has plenty (More than the other wings and bumper) of room under the wing for clearance, I'll probably purchase some counter sunk titanium screws for the bottom just because, but that's just me, it's not really needed.

I'll follow up with a driving review of the parts if I get some track time tomorrow.

Click first pic to go to my gallery for higher res photos.

I received the front wing on Friday aswell. The first thing I noticed was the weight, it feels a little bit on the heavy side but it is very strong. I put it on the car and noticed that the front wing was just a little wider than the front track of the car(about 1mm wider) I thought it my help keep the tires from catching walls. For only having one mounting piont it is alot stonger than i thought it would be.

Once I put it on the track I immediately knew this was the front wing to use. When you are driving down the straight and glance against the wall with the front end it just slides right off, thanks to the smooth delrin blocks its like you never touched anything. Normally you would end up stuffed in the wall after a little mistake like that. After running 4-5 packs trough the car everything is holding up just fine and looks great.

I agree, I drove it for a bit on the track last night and the design is very good for function. it glances off the rails instead of grabbing and is very stable with the 1 mounting point. I didn't notice a change in weight of my car either, I'm still comeing in at 201.1 grams in full race trim w/ batteries. this is with both front and rear mantis wings.

Same here, the race weight stayed the same. I put the tower bars, front and rear wings and the rear wing mount on and stayed a 197.3. Its gives me a little room to add weight where needed.

Here you go guys! I took these with a camera I dont normally use so sorry for the quality of them. Of course I left the carbon there, to me it is a sin to paint over it. I am going to paint the paneels on the front wing soon, while I paint a new body for my other F1.I'm glad your are getting some good use from the body.

The arms are fairly easy to install, you just have to shave down the top of the arms a bit and cut the body. So far they have been very effective. The caster helps plant the rear of the car and with the static camber maks the suspenion feel very smooth. All I can say right now is this is the most drivable F1 I have ever had!

Here are the pics-

That looks incredible!! have you diriven it yet? i am finding that i may need to put some rake on the front wings or add on a gurney flap, the wing mount/wing really adds downforce at high speed! i am SOOOO glad that everyone likes this stuff! and there is more to come!

BTW Matt the spacers that i sent you for the wing mount actually make the mount stiffer which is why they are that size.

they will be 35.00 unassembled, the pix on the website (mantismma.net) are not the final version, im gonna make them a bit sleeker with smaller but more aggressive winglets. should have another one made tomorrow. they are kinda tedious to assemble, for 5.00 i will assemble it.

dimensionally what will be different between the wings?
It is good to see you got things worked out and they will
be allowed in PN World Cup races....
V1=preban wing
v2=postban wing

Will you make a v3 wing that will be just a bumper so purists can
utilize there Kyosho wings?
