Core is what we have been using for these... I know it's ever given us a problem for our smaller enduros. I think it'll count for 12 cars easy (it has in the past)... not sure of the maximum capacity of the program for the amount of drivers though.

in my experience, you can scan as many cars as you can physically see on the screen. i've always run out of screen space before drives.

I guess you can change the apperance of the screen and make everything smaller to get everyone on the sdreen.

I like how Flip Side will call out the leaders and the laps. I have extra tags that work for Flip Side.

with some planning and organization, i would prefer to use flipside as well. the call out stats are just so far superior to core. you have fastest lap, lead change, etc. all of which make this much nicer experience. we can easily order generic transponders if needed due to cheap costs. we can use core transponders as well.

I've already decided that I will not be racing for this event, so I plan to run the Core, announce and do all the usual event management stuff!

Now... because this is limited to 12 teams only, I wan't to know who is going to attend, I want to leave one or two spots open for the Bowl regulars if they choose to run (which it sounds like some will so far.)

So... I know for sure there is one PA team, I will start a preliminary list here for the dedicated people who are watching this thread, then when I start the event thread... I will carry these teams over and list how many spots are left open.

1. Team PA (Larry, Gasman, Enzok)
2. Team Bowl (undetermined)
3. Team S. MD (Mike K, Saint)
4. Team Remnant (Pappa Bear, Gary Jr, Gary B)
5. OPEN
6. OPEN
7. OPEN
8. OPEN
9. OPEN
10. OPEN
11. OPEN
12. OPEN

Please post your team and all participants in that team if you are going to attend. Like I said, this is a preliminary driver's list... it will be carried over to the next thread.

Is $20 a team covering the cost of the motors also? This sounds cheap if it is including the motor? I have no issue with adding another $10 for the cost of a motor.

Been the classic slacker lately... I have to get the new thread posted on here tonight. I haven't heard from Matt or Jeremy yet but I'm sure we will.

Sorry for the delay on the event thread... been busy with all kinds of things lately but I do plan to get the actual event thread on here tonight.

I do not see anything on the Bowls website about the race. It is just under a month away. Is there any word of any other teams?
