If one were to think, with all the track you have TNB, you would be open to such things. But of course your's are boxed up and put away. And there will be no Championship in Las Vegas either.
One reason I won't host an official race--the racers themselves. I just returned from racing my 1/8th scale buggy tonight and I heard numerous complaints--Very petty complaints from adults because of this and that which basically remind me of the same type of complaints heard no matter the class or scale of the R/C. The classes at this particular race were simple--sportsman or expert in various classes without any restrictions to brand or model. There was also an open truggy class. The bad thing is that I've also spoke to numerous people who have owned tracks in the past and currently own tracks. Basically, you can't please all the people all the time and most of the time, it is difficult to please more than one racer since there is only one 1st place finisher. Myself, I'm just trying to have fun just as I have in both the Kyosho and PN Racing races; however, as a host I doubt if I could because like most track owners I've met--the complaints are taken personal and the time spent unappreciated. Of course, most of the time when it is just "bashing"--these complaints are not expressed or heard of even when there is no prize or at least not a prize worth anything to most people.
