IWaver question???
Hi all. I'm a complete noob to MZ's (if studying them in mags for the last 4 years doesn't count!), and have a new IWaver GT40 in transit to me now. Can I ask if there is any particular things (quwerks) I should be aware of, as these are obviously a low budget clone of the Kyosho?. I've been doing 1/10th electric on and off road since '86 (yep, I'm OLD ), so pacific concepts won't go not understood, but have no expirence with the '28ths. Any tips would be greatly appriciated.

As you will see in teh forums...there are a few necessary hop ups. Bearings, tires, better batteries and the necessary. Suspension is next.

the iwaver 02 model is no longer the overland clone, instead it has changed to an updated version of the 02, supposedly not like the kyosho 02

They had better be careful they don't shoot themselves in the foot with this one... being like the Kyosho and using same same aftermarket parts while undercutting the price drastically they've put themselves in a good position. If they make a mutant with their cheap recycled potato chip plastic it may not fly unless it's something extremely awesome. Just another 1/28th scale plastic toy car that uses unique parts isn't going to appeal to the masses IMHO, copying Kyosho is what got them here.
