Nice Tee. those tracks look fun, both rotations? what timing system?
Clockwise is the official direction but I do laps both ways to mix it up a little. Making an interesting track in a small space is a fun challenge and a bit of a puzzle. Lots of trial and error to see what works and doesn't. It's fun to see the creations others have come up with
I use the track mate lap counter and transponders, and the software is FlipSide racing. Works great! Never had issues with this system.

Great layout for limited spaces. You can also use the one piece Quick 45
sections to make a track that flows more similar to pro road courses.
i will eventually get more track just for now i had to break the piggy bank on the car! LOL Always looking for the fast lap!! Which on my current layout is 6.2 which unfortunately was done without most of the upgrades i've just done! current car is 6.3!

AHHH yes more parts and the track record falls! 5.9 with the new car
Now @ 5.7!
we should start a thread for time trials on the 30cm track for all the guys that have 1 at home!! like hfay, i just broke my track record again down to a 5.62!! I started a thread in the tracks and gtg part of the forum if anyone is interested in having 30cm timetrials!!
cool idea i'd be interested except what I have pictured is all I have room for at the moment and all I have is one mini-96 set. The basis for HFAY requires some flexibility in layout tile# and floor space...
Here is my first layout for the track. I need to get some blank tiles so I can make use of the rest of the track pieces. It seems like a pretty decent size for my Atomic AMZ. The true test will be when several of us are running on this layout at the same time.

Well my thought was we could just set up like yours lets say and see what times were produced. then as it gets warmer perhaps move outside and set up a little larger. Didn't intent to follow hafay exactly just give an opertunity for us with 30cm tracks at home to compare times on different layouts just to see if we are doing well or not.I have a mini 96 and expansion right now and have ordered a 45 and some blank tiles but dont know if i have room inside for all that! Just thought it would be something fun for us guys that dont have roomfor the bigger tracks.
