-triple a-main
-6h enduro

so there is 2 different races?

I think we'll have 3 races of enduro, 2 hours each... Triple a-mains but instead of minutes, its hours .

TJ is correct. We will have 3 2 hour races. Basically triple A-main enduro style. All three races will count. The team with the most points at the end will be the winner. Points will be given as follows:

1st: 100
2nd: 99
3rd: 98
4th: 97
and so forth.

This will give people who have had bad starts a fighting chance to still win the enduro.

Binh,

Depending on the # of sign ups it might be better to have 2 man teams because the races are only 2 hours long...

I think it would be better to have

7 teams of 2 than 5 teams of 3

if we have a full field of 8 like we did last time that would be the best option... but you never know...

just my .002

Last time we had 5 teams of three. This time I am hoping for 7-8 teams of 3. A two man team would give us more teams but I think it might hurt us on turn marshals. Also when your car breaks you don't have enough time to wrench. The races are only two hours long but it is still going to take 6 hours to finish racing. I will leave the option open, 3 racer max per team but you can have less.

This race event is coming up fast. Sign-up deadline will be September 6th. Racing fee per team is $75. Any team that wishes to come race from out of town, I will pay for your entry. If anyone would like to race and does not have a team, just let me know and I will find you one.

thanks.

So far it looks like we have 3 teams already signed up. Anyone looking to race, just let me know. The last time we were out there it was crazy. Having 20-30 fans cheering while you race, it gets your heart pumping.

Any teams coming from out of town?

Or a long one if I am still glitching as bad as the last 2 weeks! I think I finally figured it out. I opened the cover and found that the antenna wire has 1 strand left attached to the solder. Wondered how that happened. It's a pretty one chassis. BTW, I started after the last mall race so this will be interesting....
