Some of the older bodies that are white can yellow if exposed to sunlight or cigarette smoke for an extended period of time so to protect these little wheeled treasures it's best to protect them as much as possible by thinking about where you put them in a room.
in my case some decals that are on white bodies kinda turned yellowish... i.e. porsche gt3 2002 and toyota supra tokuhon...
wondering if putting them in a vacuum sealed box, or a similar type that controls humidity (dry boxes - the type you would put your camera and gear) would help...

@all
The #12 calsonic is not part of the "normal" 10th anniversary set which was released 4 at a time. I do remember seeing a graphic with 10 skylines shown a while back. It depicted the normal set of 8, the Unsia Jecs, and a silhouette with a question mark. Perhaps the #12 is that car.

@Herman
The decals can yellow, especially on the two cars you mentioned. Once it's taken place it's irreversible but yes keeping away from light and having low humidity will help keep it in good condition.

fyi, there are ways to restore plastic finishes however they could be damaging to decals, chrome plating, etc. i know of some tricks that i use on vintage plastic gi joe, transformers, etc. that have proven to work very well in restoring color depth and vibrancy without damaging the plastic however stickers are removed and they do not have gloss coats, etc.

Hi Ocean, unfortunately I do not race. I really wanted to and fully intended to when I started in this hobby. I've built a PN Racer, but I just find it difficult to find the time to go to the track. My local track is fantastic and the guys there are all great guys. I try to pop in when i can. I'm just so busy during the week, that when it comes to the weekend, I just want to spend the time with my family. Maybe when my son gets a bit bigger, we can enjoy the hobby together. For now he loves looking at my collection, and pointing at his favorite cars.
