I was thinking about finally pulling the trigger on an Evo board when I noticed the place I wanted it from was out of stock. I know the old MA20 board had a bigger servo motor, but the MA30 does not. In the photos the boards look the same, but they have a different parts number. Anyone know the difference? I would put it on a pn 2.5 chassis, so space isn't much of a concern, could I use 4wd board in a 2wd car?
the AWD EVO board has different wiring configuration than the RWD EVO board. I checked...I wanted to put the RWD EVO board in my FWD but the AWD board places wires in different places, which I'm sure is required for the chassis. I'm sure you could use it on a PN 2.5W as it doesn't really matter where the wires are running except if the servo/pot wires are too short, in which case you can replace/extend them.
Arch, are the solder pads in different locations, or is it just the length of the wires which you are referring to. I would think that the actual board is the same, with minor changes to the length of the wires since the EP is in the rear of the chassis and servo in the front, so needing longer wires.
