Hey, unfortunately Maya and I will be unable to attend on that day due to a schedule conflict. We have a team registered in the 2010 virginia beach sand soccer championships that weekend.

I really wish I could have made this event.

Its a busy month for Maya and I but June 5th would be the only saturday. I understand if you guys have to work something else out but I have sand soccer tournament 12-13 then from 19 to 26th or so Maya has a family reunion vacation that I am attending in the outer banks.

Mike,
June 12th would be great and your work is a great spot, not too far a drive for me. If you make it this date, I will certainly be there. Other dates in June are more difficult for me.
thanks
rene.

I'll have to work out closer to that day whether I can make it or not...any other Saturday that month would have been a 'yes'.

It looks like we have all the track except the long inside turns. That is all we need you to bring. Thanks Ed. See you on the 12th.

hey,
im new to the area just signed up and looking to get involved here.i raced 1/10th scale on road electric for a years and mini z up in detroit and the east coast, so i have a decent amount of knowledge. i will be out of town for the next ten days, so icant make this weekend. but, i do have a couple mini z first generations that ive striped down and rebuild a few times, with fresh batteries ill be ready to run.

what kinda class are you guys running stock or mod?
how often are you racing / practicing?
and what kinda track surfaces are you running on?

i am really looking forward to getting back in.

Thanks

We are running stock but it is anything goes as long as it is a 70 turn for all of the races except the HFAY races. For those races it has to be out of the pack stock with no mods. I always run the plain stock motor.

We run Monday and Thursday evenings opening up around 5 until 9 or 10. Then we run Saturdays opening up at about 2 and ending about the same time. Monday is the day that gets the most racers.

We run on RCP foam.

There is no fee to race. If you want to donate something to help out it is welcome but never asked for. We have A/C for the summer and propane heat in the winter. We run in a 4 bay garage with a porta john outside.

For the most part we don't run full out races, again except for the HFAY races. We do run many qualifiers though. We will just get everyone to put fresh batteries in the cars and run a 5 min qualifier and after it everyone will look at the computer to see how they did and do it a few more times before we all need a fresh battery change. I would bet that we run about 20 qualifiers through out the day. It is very relaxed and we have a lot of fun.

If you want you can shoot me a PM and I can send you my cell number if you want to chat about our racing. Hope to see you soon. MK

I will be at my work at 8:00 and we should have the track up by 10. We can practice till around noon, get some lunch and then start qualifing after lunch.

When you get to the building let the guards know that you are there for the R/C car race and meet us on the 9th floor. Hope to see you there tomorrow. MK
