Looking to have three classes: All classes must use non-silicone rubber tires. No traction compounds allowed. You will see below that we are trying something new to open up the rules to allow any hop-ups and any manufactures brand of cars in the Mod classes.
1) Pro Stock. You have to run a Kyosho or PN 2.5 chassis, use any 3500 or 70 turn motor, use 4 AAA Ni-mh, no Lexan bodies. Use all the aluminum and aftermarket parts you want to run!
2) 2WD Mod. If you run 2'c lipo batteries you can only use a 3500 motor. If you use 4 AAA Ni-mh you have to run a 5000kv or faster motor.
3) 4WD Mod. Same battery and motor rules as the 2WD class.
2 rounds of 5 minute qualifying and 8 minute mains.
Please let us know what questions you have. Hope you can make it!
2 five minute qualifiers and 8 minute mains. Amount of drivers will determine the amount of guys in the heats and mains. I would love to get the racing finished by 6 PM.
Believe it or not I think we can fit 25-27 drivers in the pits. Trying to see how many guys are coming.
I can see both rounds of qualifying per class taking an hour. Maybe not the 4WD class. Then the mains will take an hour per class. That is 6 hours alone with no breaks. Should we say that we are starting stock at 10 or do we count on it going until 9 at night?
Id like to come up if only to meet and greet , hang out. I have six hour drive and as of now don't have fri night off but sounds like fun. I'll have to see as the date gets closer
