Kyosho Mini Tanks

Does anyone have any experience with these? They look pretty cool, but i dont want to waste my money without knowing if they're good or not. also, whats the deal with the tactical competition board?

Here are the links to them on kyosho's website...

As I said, these are not speed demons.
But I had loads of fun driving the tank over various obstacles found on desks
The board (from what I gathered from various web pages) is a precision driving game that flips you over if you hit any "mines" on the board.
Get the 3ch version if you can. It would be fun to be able to turn the turret sometimes .
Also I found a Tamiya tank that uses standard radio gear and is a bit bigger.
Twice as expensive around here too
The desktop rover seems fun also, but I dislike the toy appearance, if the looks would compare to kyosho there would be no contest, but they don't.
