Most people prefer the High Grip side (rough side).

Congratulations on your purchase, you won’t be disappointed. I prefer the rough side. Using different degree tires to tune your car for your particular driving preference is really easy on this surface. Have fun!

the sell them in the shop here, and also at r c kenon. support the shop here first. If they don't have what you need look elsewhere.

Did these results ever get posted? I would really like to paint some logo's on my new track. What paint is likely to stick and wear well?

Thanks!

Exclamation Mini tile supply problem?

I have an extensive mini-tile collection and I am looking to expand. I heard that all mini tile tracks and expansions are back ordered until mid 2008...is this true???????

Not true. Where did you here that from? Only the Mini-96 kits themselves are on backorder. Below is a list of kits that are currently WELL stocked.

Mini- expansion kit #32436 (24 striaghts, rails Pins + 36 blanks.)
Mini- large radius inside turn kit #30145 (4 large radius turns per kit)
Mini-long 45 kit #30245 (2 complete long 45 sections per kit)
Mini-chicane kit #30345 ( two complete chicanes per kit)
Jump kits #50005 (qty 5 different jumps per kit)

You can order any of the above kits from the Tiny Rc or Mini-zracer shop.

I was wondering if anybody knows how to clean or condition a brand new RCP track for practicing/racing. At our club the RCP track is nice and grippy. I noticed when I set up my personal, brand new, track that it had tons of dust (for lack of a better word) and my cars had a hard time with traction. I'm sure it just needs a good cleaning. Is vacuuming a good plan or should I use something else to get it ready to race on?

You can use a standard shop vac or a household type vacuum. If you use a household type vacuum with spinning brushes, make sure the brushes aren't too low and make contact with the mats. If they sit too low, they will damage the surface.

I sometimes use a hard bristle broom to clean the track. I simply remove a rail or two and sweep everything out from the openings.

Mini96'
I have the Mini96 and expansion kit, but with "just" 12 turns, I would like some more.

Can I buy 4 complete turns?
is there a set for that?

Yes, you can purchase the SETR-C30012-01 kit. This kit contains 6 complete turns for the Mini-96 kits. This kit incorporates a new design that that uses two tiles to make the complete turn with rails on both sides of the tiles. Normally it takes 4 tiles and rails to make the turns, but with this kit you only use two 45 degree pieces for each complete turn.

Everything is included in the kit, rails, tiles and pins. You can go to www.rcptracks.com for more information and details. Click on the 30cm track section.

Ah Great.

That set looks just perfect!

You do have single rails also?
I need 24 more single rails.

Do I send a e-mail to you to get the prices and shipping to Norway?

Is there going to be anything like the SETR-C30012-01 for the 50cm tracks? That is a cool item, and would really up the layout possibilities on the 50cm tracks.
