Mini-Z Racing in North Carolina

There is another track in NC. It is located inside High Speed Hobbies in China Grove, NC about 30 mi. north of Charlotte. Races every Thursday night @ 7 pm. The track is about 20X30.
The surface is commercial carpet w/pink foam walls. Lane widths
are about 4 ft. Great track. They also race 1/18th scale cars and Mini-T's.

What happened to this place? They said they were moving in September 2003, but their site has never been updated. Are they still around?

Ft. Lauderdale Mini-Track
Fast and Furious on the corner of University and Oakland Park Behind the Lowe's and Warrick's Custom Hobbies on University near 595 by Sound Advice both have tracks.
Fast and Furious has a wider track more forgiving(to the cars not your time) compared to the to the tight and technical track at Warrick's. Both have fairly knowledgable and Very friendly staff. Warrick was the home of this past month's 04 Kyosho South East Mini-Z cup regionals.

Hey Emilio, do you goto these places often? I am going to be in Ft Lauderdale starting tomorrow (getting away from the NY cold) for a week and Sundays forecast is calling for rain! SO, I already told my wife I would stop by. If they don't rent the cars there. I told her I would have to buy a new one . I don't think she believed me.

RCP Track Lincoln, Nebraska

HobbytownUSA in Lincoln, Nebraska has set up a very large RCP-Track in their corp. store. They will be organizing racing soon for 1/24 and 1/18 scale on and off road vehicles. They currently run Mini-Z's, Overlands, Mini-Monsters, Micro RS4's and Losi Mini-T's. They currently run the smooth side of the tiles and the grip is outstanding with the 1/18 scale cars and trucks. They will be adding blank tiles to the track as well as off road tiles in the future.

Check out this picture of how they make jumps for the 1/24 and 1/18 scale trucks. They will be incorporating the off road tiles into the center of the track. This layout shows how you can add option lanes off the main course. You can make a track with the onroad tiles and then transition to an off road course and back to the on road surface, if desired.

Check out the RCP Tracks Gallery for some additional pictures.

Ya, me. Me and a couple guys race in my garage every other Thursday night. It's getting to the point where we might open it up to more people, like an official club of sorts. We race nearly stock MR01's and OL's on a foam mat track. If that sounds like something you'd be interesed in let me know.

Davkin-

Yeah that sounds very cool. I don't have any racers right now, but am pursuing several options...Just my OL for a week or so.

I'm in Provo actually, so lemme know (email me) where you guys are and maybe we can hook up sometime.
